THE INCREDIBLE AWARDS CEREMONY!!!!

Started today with our team BC photo as well as our 
West Kootenay team photo. . . 

We are all together (middle and to the left!)

This is what these kids have been waiting for - 

THE AWARDS CEREMONY!

They were in the main hall with their projects until 2:30, had to rush up to change into their fancy duds and be up at the hall by 3:30.  It was great this year as the awards were held on campus in the arena and they did a wonderful job making it look all snazzy! 

The ceremony is very slick and it can be found at the following link if you wish to see it all.  Dominic Tremblay was the master of ceremonies and he is phenomenal! 
AND THIS IS THE RESULT OF ALL THE HARD WORK!

LUCAS  - Challenge Award - $750. best Junior research                         project
              - Carlson Wagonlit Award - $500. - an outstanding
                 junior project related to transportation
              - Bronze Medal & $1000. scholarship 

HAYDEN -  Silver Medal & $2000. scholarship

NADINE - wins the award for GREAT attitude! This just
                 motivated her to do even more work and get one
                 next year.  Music to my ears!

After a wonderful dinner and a plethora of desserts, the kids were treated to a dance, board games, video games and fun snacks.  It was a late night but according to all three kids, it was an EPIC dance - best one yet according to Hayden!!!

It actually was as insane as this photo!!! A great time had by all!

                       PHEW - that was a longgggg day!
