Today was the day of the locusts (a.k.a. - masses of school kids). Supposedly there will be over 8000 students go through the fair in the next 3 days. Years prior, our students haven't loved this but all 3 of our kids had a great time talking to different kids and adults today! They are all doing so well representing their schools, district and families!
Before the competition, Nadine entered a question into the Canadian Space Agency about her project. Today she received word that she would be able to ask her question LIVE - what an amazing gift! Her are the results of her efforts! The Canadian astronaut in space right now is Dr. David Saint Jacques who has been in space since December 2018 and will be returning to Earth this July! WOW!!!
After a very long day of judging, we were treated to CAMP CWSF! This is an evening of seeing some amazingly talented kids present some of their other talents - it was a truly delightful evening! PLUS there were hot dogs, hot chocolate and s'mores!
